Through biomechanics research, I analyzed foot pressure distribution and dynamic movement patterns in basketball. These insights were applied to the outsole design, optimizing multi-zone pressure distribution and cushioning systems. This enhanced traction and performance while reducing injury risks, showcasing a science-driven approach to innovative design.
MIDSOLE IDEATIONS
By studying the dynamic movement of birds, I created a multi-layered midsole that balances grip, stability, and cushioning. The sculpted, wave-like curves offer both performance and aesthetic appeal, merging natural inspiration with functional design.

The final design focused on blending performance and aesthetics, inspired by Audi's shimmer finishes and Kyrie Irving's dynamic play style. Research into his movements guided the outsole and midsole design for traction and agility, while sketches explored fluid, light-reflecting visuals. This phase established a foundation for a shoe that balances luxury and functionality.
